Weddings

I shoot a variety of images both traditional and photojournalistic.  I do my best to capture all the details that you've poured your heart and soul into over the past months. 

Because every wedding has different needs in a photographer, I prefer to discuss each situation independently and quote based on the information gathered.  Wedding packages are available starting as low as $850, contact me for a more detailed price quote.

What to Wear:

For children & families, my suggestion is to keep it simple and comfortable.  Clothing choices are very important to get those unforgettable portraits.  Jeans or Khaki's for kids and the entire family is always a favorite along with bare feet.  A simple top or T-shirt with jeans, or khakis photograph well or a simple sun dress for girls is always a nice option.   Solid matching  or coordinating colors are always a simple classic choice.  On the other hand, bright colors and or bold patterns can make for very personality filled portraits.  If you cant decide, or if you just want to try a couple of different looks, feel free to have a few options ready.

When the weather turns cold, please plan for suitable outer wear.  Beanies, hats, scarves, gloves & unique blankets can make for fun and interesting photos as well. 

For Seniors,  a letterman jacket, jersey, class ring, football, basketball, skateboard or other items that show your personality and or interests are always a great option. 

Please keep in mind that these are just suggestions and you are always free to wear whatever you would like.  

On Location:

On location means that I come to you, or we meet at a predetermined location (for example: a park, field, river, a unique building or just about anywhere in the town).  There are many beautiful locations to capture a portrait around town during almost any season of the year.   If you have an idea, I am most likely happy to try it.  If not, I will let you know and we can work on an alternative location.   

There is so much variety and so much fun with on location photography.  If it's a studio look with a plain black, brown or gray background you are looking for, let me know and we can work this out as well.

For outdoor sessions, open shade is very important.  Direct sunlight causes harsh shadows, washed out colors and squinting - we don't want that!  Please remember when planning a session outdoors, earlier in the mornings or later in the evenings are the best time for optimal lighting.

The Session:

Most sessions typically last an hour to an hour and a half but they are never rushed.  Plenty of time will be allowed for snacks, bathroom breaks, clothing changes, and location change, if desired.  Be relaxed, have fun and enjoy the experience.   
After the session I will spend time editing your pictures to bring out the best in each one.  Your initial session fee covers not only the photographers time & travel to actually take your protrait,(up to 20 miles) but it covers the processing of your images, standard editing & basic retouching, proofing, and customization of your portraits.  (Out of town sessions require an extra travel fee, please inquire.)

Terms & Conditions:

Weddings require a deposit to book the date, with the balance due two weeks prior to the wedding day.  
For senior portraits, children, and family sessions, payment is due the day of the session.

Payment methods: Cash, M.O. & Checks* are accepted. Credit Cards are accepted through PayPal only, and there is a 3% processing fee.
